Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait went down 0.74% or 47 points to reach 6,262.39 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.52% and 0.36%, respectively.
The consumer services segment led nine decliners with 2.04%, dragged by Muntazahat which lost 11.3%.
The financial services sector dropped 1.52% in line with the 20% decline of Amwal which was the top loser.
Meanwhile, the insurance segment was the only gainer with a rise of 2.04%, backed by First Takaful and Wethaq Insurance with an 11.11% rise each.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity increased by 25.2% to KWD 11.53 million on Sunday compared to KWD 9.21 million in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased by 7.1% to 63.08 million shares compared to 67.9 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 16 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 2.55 million, rising 2.53% to close Sunday at 162 fils.
